What this policy covers
This policy explains how Lambsbook uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies. Cookies are small data files that help a website recognize a browser, maintain a secure session or remember choices.
Necessary technologies
Necessary technologies support sign-in, security, fraud prevention, requested account features, checkout, load balancing and privacy preferences. They cannot be switched off through our preference panel because the requested service may not function correctly without them. The lambsbook_cookie_preferences cookie remembers your privacy selection for up to six months. Interface preference cookies, when used, may remember a display setting for up to seven days.
Optional analytics
If you consent, Lambsbook may record first-party directory searches, profile visits, campaign referral activity and interactions such as calls, directions, website visits, shares and sponsored-listing clicks. These records help us understand directory coverage, launch-partner participation and usefulness. Optional analytics are not sent until you choose to allow them, and you may withdraw permission through Cookie settings.
Advertising technologies
Lambsbook does not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral advertising trackers. If that changes, these technologies will remain disabled unless the visitor makes the required choice, and this policy will be updated.
Maps, location and payments
The directory loads map tiles from an external map service, which receives ordinary network information such as an IP address when map resources are requested. If you use current-location features, your browser asks for location permission separately. Payment pages may be provided by Stripe when paid services are enabled; payment and fraud-prevention technologies are governed by Stripe’s own privacy practices as well as applicable law.
Your choices
You can accept or reject optional analytics and revisit your decision at any time. Lambsbook also detects Global Privacy Control and keeps advertising and sale/sharing-related tracking off when that signal is active.
