Privacy policy

Information we receive
You may browse the directory without an account. When you sign in, our sign-in provider supplies an account identifier, email address and, when available, name. We receive information you provide in business applications and claims, references, reviews, saved businesses, offers, offer claims and redemption confirmations, feedback, contact messages and concerns. Applications can include supporting documents. We record basic directory search and profile activity, when you consent to optional analytics, to understand and improve use of the directory.
How we use it
We use information to operate the directory; connect owners with listings; review confirmation requests and concerns; display listings, reviews, offers and labeled sponsored placements; issue and confirm offer codes; answer messages; protect the service; and measure whether searches, profiles and offers are useful, including clicks from sponsored placements. We do not treat a listed business’s faith status as proof of its giving.
What others can see
Public business profiles show submitted business details, confirmation status, published offers and approved reviews. A review displays the name the reviewer chose for display, rating and review text. Consumers can see their own offer codes and statuses. An authorized business owner can see and confirm codes claimed for that business, but the redemption manager does not display the consumer’s email address. Private application evidence, reference responses, contact messages and concern reports are available to authorized reviewers, subject to sharing needed to investigate a concern or comply with law.
Service providers and external sites
The site relies on hosting, storage, sign-in and mapping services to operate. If paid sponsorships or memberships become available, Stripe may handle payment information; Lambsbook does not receive complete payment-card numbers. Business website, map and other external links lead to services with their own privacy practices. We do not currently sell personal information.
Cookies, analytics and location
Necessary technologies support security, sign-in, requested features and privacy preferences. Optional first-party analytics are used only after consent and can measure searches, profile visits, campaign referral activity and listing interactions. Lambsbook does not currently use advertising cookies or sell personal information. Current-location features use the browser’s separate permission process. You can change optional choices through Cookie settings in the footer and read the Cookie Policy.
Security, retention and choices
Access to application and reviewer information is limited by account and reviewer permissions. We keep records while needed for the service, account and confirmation history, dispute handling and applicable obligations; we have not set one universal deletion schedule. You can ask about your information or request a correction or deletion through Contact us. Some records may need to be retained or may already have appeared in public reviews or business profiles.
Changes
As the service develops, we may update this page and its effective date. Please review it before providing sensitive information. Do not include passwords, full payment card numbers or medical details in forms.
