Using Lambsbook

Lambsbook helps people discover local businesses and understand the confirmation steps behind a listing badge. You are responsible for evaluating a provider’s qualifications, price, availability and suitability before purchasing. A listing or badge is not an endorsement or warranty of services, licensing or results.

Accurate participation

If you submit a business profile, application, ownership claim, reference, review, offer or concern, provide information you believe to be accurate and that you have authority to provide. Do not impersonate someone else, submit fabricated reviews, falsely claim or confirm an offer, or use the site to harass others. Business owners control the terms of their offers and are responsible for honoring offers they publish. A redemption confirmation records that a business accepted a Lambsbook code; it does not independently verify the purchase amount or every offer term.

Confirmation and reviews

Unverified listings have not completed Lambsbook confirmation. Affirmed, Verified and Community Verified describe different self-attestation and reference steps; they do not certify quality or donations. Reviews represent contributors’ opinions and may be moderated. A concern can be reported through our concern form.

Review integrity, incentives and endorsements

Lambsbook is committed to reviews and endorsements that reflect honest opinions and real experiences. Lambsbook does not require positive reviews and does not compensate or reward anyone for a favorable rating, favorable review, removal of criticism or any activity intended to distort consumer opinion. Businesses and other participants may not condition a payment, discount, gift, benefit or opportunity on a positive Lambsbook rating or review.

Lambsbook may compensate influencers or other partners for creating content, participating in a campaign or generating verified registrations. Compensation must never depend on a favorable business rating or positive review. Anyone endorsing Lambsbook or a listed organization must clearly and conspicuously disclose any material relationship that could affect how people evaluate the endorsement, including payment, free products or services, employment, ownership, family relationships or other benefits.

Reviews must represent the contributor's honest experience. Honest criticism is welcome. Lambsbook may reject or remove fake, deceptive, undisclosed incentivized or conflict-of-interest reviews and may take action against attempts to manipulate a listing's rating. These standards are intended to follow the Federal Trade Commission's guidance for endorsements, influencers and consumer reviews. Read the FTC's endorsement, influencer and review guidance.

Availability and pricing

Features and listings may change as Lambsbook improves the directory. Business membership is currently free, with no card required. Sponsored-placement requests are complimentary until paid billing is activated and final terms are displayed.

Your content and contact

By submitting content for publication, you permit Lambsbook to display it in the directory as needed to provide the feature. Do not submit material you lack permission to share. For questions about a listing, content or these terms, contact us.
